Riesling Coup de Foudre Bernhard & Reibel
Riesling remains the criminally unrecognised king of white grapes. Alsace is arguably the home of this variety and Pierre has created a bone dry, delicious and not-too-expensive wine for drinking with most things but particularly good with spicy food.
FRANCE £19.00
Sauvignon Blanc Allan Scott
Allan Scott is regarded as one of the best Marlborough winemakers. This is zingy, dry and full of wonderful fruit flavours. Fantastic.
N.ZELAND £19.00
Pinot Gris Bernhard & Reibel
Elsewhere known as Pinot Grigio, this variety has become incredibly popular and whereas most of what is produced is thin and light, this wine shows what can be achieved. Rich, dry and utterly delicious.
FRANCE £19.00
Sancerre Authentique Thomas Labaille
Stunning grass and gooseberry juicy freshness. More akin to a Marlborough Sauvignon than the usual austere Sancerre. A wine produced on a 9 hectare estate in Chavignol.
FRANCE £21.00
Chablis Les Temps Perdus
Absolutely top quality 'straight' Chablis. Dry, steely and flinty, in other words, everything one expects from this classic French wine.
FRANCE £20.00
